Some sakes are soft and gentle, other crisp and dry. And there's a world of difference in between. For the season's first Aftertaste event, we'll sample delicate sakes from Kyoto, Hiroshima and Miyagi Prefecture celebrated for their delicacy and soft texture.

A total of 39 junmai, ginjo and daginjo sakes will be available for sampling, including 22 gold or silver award-winners from the 2007 U.S. National Sake Appraisal. The format is the same as last year: a 10-minute talk, followed by 50 minutes of tasting, and concluding with sake appetizers and socializing until 8:30.

Reservations may be made online through the following link: Aftertaste Hawaii Online Ticket Purchase or call Pua at 222-5591. All sales are final and attendance is limited to 50 persons.

Aloha,

Joy of Sake Ohana
