Sake has played an important role in Japanese myth and ceremony since the dawn of history. This evening's tasting features 40 junmai, ginjo and daiginjo sakes, arranged by festival theme:

New Year's—joyous, resplendent daiginjo labels
Setsubun (Spring Festival)—scares the demons away
Cherry Blossom Season—gay, festive, fun to drink
Tanabata (Milky Way Festival)—sends us to the stars

Nadine Leong from The Sake Shop will talk about her favorite ways to pair sake with food over the holidays. Then, there are 40 junmai, ginjo and daiginjo sakes for tasting from 6:00 to 7:00, followed by the appetizer buffet and a congenial hour of sake sipping until 8:00 p.m.

Donation sake will be available for Holiday gifts.

Reservations may be made online through the following link: Aftertaste Ticket Store or call Pua at 222-0195. All sales are final and attendance is limited to 80 persons.

Registration opens at 5:30 pm.
Program begins promptly at 6:00 pm.
