What kinds of sake go best with fish? With fresh, herbaceous salads? With hearty steaks? As with wine, there are simple rules to follow when pairing food and sake. To start off our May event local food writer and sake enthusiast Mari Taketa will share her pairing tips. Then put your new pairing knowledge to the test with forty daiginjo, ginjo and junmai sakes from the Joy of Sake archives and a selection of pupus from Morimoto Waikiki.
